FOUR LETTERS TO MAHLER

Four Letters to Mahler is a solo exhibition at Studio10 gallery in Brooklyn. The aluminum sculpture supports an eight channel sound work referencing the letters that Arnold Schoenberg wrote to Gustav Mahler in 1909 and 1910.

MDSE has now released a third live recorded CD. David Schafer and MeKaniKdolls’s sound collaboration performed at Lumenhouse in Bushwick, Brooklyn as part of Arts in Bushwick’s “Site Fest”. .

The recording is now available on iTunes.

On March 5, 2011, MDSE performed at Lumenhouse as part of Arts in Bushwick’s Site Fest.

Video, Sound, Performance at Lumenhouse was curated by Nicholas Shifrin and Andrew Brennan, who described the event as “physical instruments and kinetic performance/sound art, re-enacted YouTube sensations and ethereal vocal works.”

MDSE, comprised of electronic noise duo MeKaniKdolls and artist David Schafer performed a 35 minute set of live noise and voice improvisation.
